Congress has passed one of the most harmful budget cuts in recent history that has slashed support for families fighting poverty. We believe everyone deserves access to heathy food, shelter, and healthcare. So we are standing up for our values and fighting back!

Media is a powerful way to speak up about these issues and let our leaders know we are against these cuts. We want Congress to hear our message loud and clear when they come back home for the August recess. We’re mobilizing advocates across the country to flood local media with a clear, urgent message: these programs are lifelines, and cutting them is unacceptable. 

Join us for a advocacy webinar where you'll learn how to write and submit a letter to the editor (LTE) that calls on Congress to protect critical anti-poverty programs like SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), Medicaid, and global health efforts such as Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.

In less than one hour, you will learn how to write an LTE, receive sample language and tips for getting published, and submit your letter. Together, we'll turn collective frustration into visible public pressure, one headline at a time.
