Sign-up for the RESULTS Advocate Incubator
Take the first step to become a powerful advocate!
We’re now recruiting for our New Advocate Training & Action Program that will go from August-October 2025.
The training program begins with the New Advocate Orientation, a one-hour session that provides you with all the information you need to get started as an advocate. Come learn who we are, what we fight for, and how to take your first action. Every one who signs up and attends will receive our New Advocate Action Plan and Starter Pack to guide you through the basics.
The orientation is followed by two training & action meetings in September and October, led by RESULTS staff. Each training will be held multiple times so you can join when it works for you!
What you’ll experience in the Incubator:
New Advocate Orientation
- Wednesday, August 27 at 1pm ET, 12pm CT, 11am MT, 10am PT
- Tuesday, September 16 at 1pm ET, 12pm CT, 11am MT, 10am PT
- Wednesday, September 17 at 8pm ET, 7pm CT, 6pm MT, 5pm PT
Training #1 – Write Powerfully in the Media
- Tuesday, October 7 at 1pm ET, 12pm CT, 11am MT, 10am PT
- Wednesday, October 8 at 8pm ET, 7pm CT, 6pm MT, 5pm PT
Training #2 – Build Relationships with Congress
- Tuesday, October 28 at 1pm ET, 12pm CT, 11am MT, 10am PT
- Wednesday, October 29 at 8pm ET, 7pm CT, 6pm MT, 5pm PT
Training #3 – Connecting the Pieces: Advocacy & Organizing
- Wednesday, Nov 12 at 1pm ET, 12pm CT, 11am MT, 10am PT
- Thursday, Nov 13 at 8pm ET, 7pm CT, 6pm MT, 5pm PT
After completing the Incubator, you’ll be introduced to a local RESULTS group and take your advocacy to the next level.

RESULTS is a grassroots advocacy network working with the U.S. Congress. Volunteering is open to people who are based in the United States and the age of 18 and older.
In the New Advocate Incubator, you will:
- Attend two interactive training and action sessions led by RESULTS staff
- Learn to speak powerfully about solutions to poverty
- Build skills and confidence in speaking to Congress, writing powerful media, and mobilizing your community
- Take meaningful actions as part of our national campaigns
- Connect with new advocates from across the country
